Village of New Paltz Fire House
In 2022, the Palombo Group turned over a new Fire Station to the Village of New Paltz. The center, officially known as the East of the Wallkill Emergency Operations Center, called for the design and construction of a new 14,000 square foot facility, including road and parking improvements as well as an eight-bay firehouse that serves the Village of New Paltz as well as the Town of New Paltz. The Emergency Operations Center will be used as a command center and staging area by police, fire, national guard, and Federal Emergency Management Agency personnel as needed during future disaster events.
