Project Description

In 2010 the Red Hook Library decided to add an addition on to the back end of the octagon shaped building built by Red Hook tobacco factory owner Allen Barringer Hendricks. The well known building has been home to the Red Hook Library since 1935. The entryway addition holds a new elevator and stair well. In addition to the entryway, some structural, electrial, and mechanical work was needed. A new septic system was put in along with some site work. Finishing work was done to wrap everything up. The Palombo Group was responsible for construction management and completed the project in July of 2011.
