Project Description
In 2003, Millbrook School ( a private boarding school located in Millbrook, NY) decided to create some additional housing as an incentive for staff. The Palombo Group was awarded the general contractor contract through Hammermill Builders, a division of The Palombo Group. The budget for this project was $779,000 and included the construction of a duplex for staff housing, a two car garage, and some site work. Due to the location, it was necessary to install a septic system and a well for water as well.
While there, the school building itself also received certain upgrades such as replacement doors and windows. Work was completed on time and under budget, a Palombo Group standard.
