Project Description
As the Construction Manager, The Palombo Group was responsible for construction of a new public safety facility for the City of Poughkeepsie. This $8,000,000 project resulted in the creation of a beautiful steel and mason building consisting of 30,000 square feet. The structure contains a new firehouse and a new police sub-station with a radio/command room, a crime scene investigation garage, firearm simulation training area and a suspect interview facility. The firehouse portion contains three truck bays, administrative offices, exercise facilities and a kitchen. The structure was completed with a standing seam roof for increased durability and benefit. Beautifully designed, pictures simply can not do this building justice.
Construction was completed on time and under budget in September 2007.
