Project Description
In an effort to reduce operating costs through saving associated with ownership in lieu of lease and locating a transportation facility within the District, Pawling Central School District decided on a new Transportation Facility at the High School Middle School campus, located at Wagner Drive.
The Palombo Group was very pleased to be awarded the contract for Construction Management and begin assisting Pawling Central School District on this project.
Construction began in August of 2014 and was completed under budget in August 2015.
The new 6300 square foot facility is complete with parking for 40 buses, gasoline and diesel fueling, 74 car parking spaces, 3 maintenance bays , and administrative support space.
